Fire Extinguisher Training (4hrs)

Half day course (4 hours) intended for anyone wanting to learn to use a fire extinguisher.  Valid for 3 years.

Topics include:

• Identification of fire hazards and classifications of fire
• Overview of fire control methods
• Practical exercise involving ABC fire extinguishers with a Class B fire

Requirements:

• Capable of reading, writing and understanding English
• Physically capable of operating a 20lb ABC fire extinguisher
• Coveralls, CSA approved safety boots, gloves
